Creamy Lemon Garlic Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 14 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except for the olive oil into the body of a food processor.  Pulse about 10 times until just combined.

  2. With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in olive oil and continue pureeing until creamy, 1-2 minutes.   If needed, add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach desired consistency.
